Password-protected FTP access allows the PIs to upload data and browse from a command line and read those directly from the user account.
From a command line window:
ftp hs3.nsstc.nasa.gov
user> hs3scienceteam
pass> emailed to users

cd <instrument>
3)
put <data>
Instrument directories have already been set up for each instrument. These sub-directories have read/write privileges.Additional sub-directories can be created as needed.
Once data has been archived the instrument directory will be removed. If subsequent versions need to be uploaded, notify GHRC Data Management Group of the new data upload.
