GCPEX Met Tower Instruments

A suite of standard meteorological instruments attached on a 10m met tower. The observation station used was assembled by ATMOS (Automated Transportable Meteorological Observation Station). Geophysical parameters are measured by the follwing instrumentation with its documentation link:

• Wind : Campbell Scientific R.M. Young 05103-10 wind monitor
• Temperature, Relative Humidity : Campbell Scientific HMP45C temperature and RH probe
• Pressure : Vaisala PTB210 digital barometer + SPH10 static pressure head and Barometer
• Solar Radiation : Campbell Scientific SP-Lite Silicon Pyranometer
• Data Logger : Campbell Scientific CR1000 data logger
• Data Logger : Campbell Scientific CR1000 data logger Operator Manual
• Delta Temperature : Two wired thermocouples, placed at 0.5m and 10m, to measure the temperature difference;
  positive numbers show stable conditions, while negative numbers show unstable conditions.
