Quality-controlled and Cubic Spline interpolated rain rates from IPHEx NASA gauges. The rain rates are generated using the algorithm of Wang et al. 2008 (JTECH). (Wang, J., B. L. Fisher, and D. B. Wolff, 2008: Estimating rain rates from tipping-bucket rain gauge measurements. J. Atmos. Oceanic Technol., 25, 43-56.) Each yearly file contains all rain rates from each gauge. Only non-zero rain rates are provided. The data unit is mm/hr, and the resolution is 1 minute. File Name: iphex_raingauge_NASA00##_B_20140102_20141016_gmin.txt where ## is the gauge platform number (26,27,...,45), X is A or B to denote gauge A or B equipped on each platform, and YYYYMMDD is year (2013, 2014), Month(01) and DD (start-01, stop-16).gmin is a one minute interpolated rain rate. The header of each file gives data year, gauge identification number, gauge type and its bucket resolution, as well as data column labels.
