These UF files contain the CSU-CHILL radar data collected while
the NASA ER2 aircraft conducted a series of four legs along the
090 and 120 degree CHILL azimuths as a part of the MC3E project
on 24 May 2011.
The scan coverage was:
CHL20110524_194851.uf:
360 PPI surveillance volume as the ER2 prepared
to intercept the CHILL 090 azimuth and fly it inbound.

CHL20110524_195434.uf through CHL20110524_200624.uf:
RHI volumes containing the 090 azimuth.  (Leg 1)
 
CHL20110524_200810.uf:
Sector scan to the SE during the course reversal.

CHL20110524_201343.uf through CHL20110524_202320.uf:
RHI volumes covering leg 2: outbound on the 120 azimuth
NOTE: due to a slight antenna controller glitch, the 122 deg az
RHI sweep was repeated three times in the volume that started at
2020:08 UTC.  All of these sweeps have been retained in the UF file.

Data adjustments:
Based on Zdr histograms done in the upper (ice particle) sections of
the echo, the following bias adjustments were applied to the
UF DR field data values:
CHL20110524_194851.uf through CHL20110524_202352.uf: 0.22 dB added
CHL20110524_203211.uf through CHL20110524_205929.uf: 0.3 dB subtracted
