The annual Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer (AMSR) Science Team meeting was held September 16-17 in Huntsville, AL. The AMSR Science Investigator-led Processing System (SIPS) at GHRC DAAC was represented by DAAC Manager Dr. Rahul Ramachandran, DAAC Operations Manager Helen Conover, AMSR SIPS team lead Sherry Harrison and AMSR SIPS software engineer Dr. Amy Lin. Conover and Harrison presented status of SIPS and Land Atmosphere Near real time Capability for EOS (LANCE) AMSR activities. Harrison also attended a Mission Operations Working Group meeting, held in conjunction with the Science Team meeting, on September 15. The AMSR Science meeting was attended by between 30 and 35 national and international members from around the United States and Japan.
