The Global Hydrometeorology Resource Center (GHRC) DAAC attended the annual American Meteorological Society conference in Denver, Colorado from January 9-12. GHRC members Navaneeth Selvarag, Dr. Geoffrey Stano, and DAAC Manager Dr. Aaron Kaulfus attended, presented, and chaired sessions. This was the first time since 2020 that GHRC had been able to attend in person. The theme of GHRC’s presentations focused on cloud-based user services. This ranged from technical discussions to create cloud-optimized data to recent developments, such as the lightning dashboard. The conference also provided an excellent opportunity to have multiple side meetings and discussions. Several potential collaborations may arise from these discussions and will be discussed in-depth at a later date pending their status. Below are the presentations that incorporated GHRC work or involved GHRC personnel.
