The GHRC DAAC was represented at the 2017 Winter Meeting of the Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP) by DAAC Manager Dr. Rahul Ramachandran, Operations Manager Helen Conover, and Science Team member Kaylin Bugbee. Ms. Bugbee serves as co-chair of ESIP’s Documentation Cluster, and was a convener for several sessions related to metadata and documentation. She also presented on her extra-DAAC work with ESDIS’ Common Metadata Repository (CMR) and the Partnership for Resilience Preparedness (PREP). Ms. Conover helped organize a session on Event-Driven Virtual Collections (VC), at which Bugbee presented her VC research. Conover was also elected chair of the Finance and Appropriations Committee.
