Media Day is the objective of the day. We want to let the media know about NASA, GA-ASI, IDEA, and our project. It is a great opportunity to reach out to the public.
The Altus crew will be checking out the plane from its long flight yesterday and getting it ready for a possible Friday flight.
Meetings:
8/22/02
9:00 AM EDT Public Affairs group to meet with Media at the security gate
9:15 AM EDT Photo op of the Altus
9:30 AM EDT ACES presentation to the Media in the Weather Briefing room.
10 AM EDT Media will have opportunity to speak with the ACES team.
there will be opportunity for the Media to go out to the Ground Control Station (escorted).
4 PM EDT Weather briefing to prepare for Friday's flight
