Weather Summary:

Deep Atlantic HI continues to dominate wx. Since ridge axis moved north two days ago, we have been in deep Ely flow with light steering winds. Cape is almost 2000, up from yesterday, and PW is up 7mm to 55, so it is nice and juicy today.

Of interest is the action to the west in the central GMex. Nly winds aloft have driven a dry spear of air into the region, pushing that old frontal boundary southward as a dewpoint boundary. Watch for some convection along that as the day progresses. This poses no threat to our wx, but models do spin it up a bit in the next 48.

An induced trof between the atlantic HI and the one over the US keeps our situation unstable for the next couple of days, and as the easterly waves pass thru (one this morning, another late Saturday) we'll see the thunderstorms in the area of interest.
