Conduct scientific checkout mission in the Everglade. Thunderstorms forecast to form later in the afternoon, with a higher probability toward northern portion of COA region. Flight will provide opportunity to see how aircraft and payload function at altitudes of 40 - 50 kft. Estimated flying time 6.5 hours or less (especially if no storm development in target area).
