Daily Objectives:
Investigate isolated thunderstorms in ACES target domain (Everglades and nearby ocean).
Tomorrow (08/16/02) is a down day. Weather looks to be the same as today and possibly worse (dryer) in the target area. There will be some amount of maintenance activity on the aircraft since it had the long flight today. This time will give us an opportunity to look at the science data and correlate it to the aircraft avionics data.
Meetings:
Next meeting will be the weather briefing on 08/17/02 at 9 am EDT.
Flight debrief will be ~30 minutes after landing.
Announcements:
Great Job by the ALTUS crew in getting the ALTUS ready and being able to fly for 5.2 hours today.
Remember Media day is coming up on Aug. 22. We currently have about 7-9 reporters planning to attend.
