Conducted a survey of developing system PGI44. All instruments operated, 21 drop-sondes were launched successfully. The flight was concurrent with the Global Hawk. Although we had some difficulties in flight path coordination at the beginning of the flight, we flew together with the Global Hawk on two legs and also coordinated with the NOAA GIV. Both air data probes iced up for several minutes while overflying the center of the system. |
