We had another successful flight yesterday of ~8.2 hours flying the same storm as the previous day and what we are flying again today PGI44. The flight was at altitude for the entire flight.  The flight was mostly over the storm but we did get several good legs with LASE on the way out and back.  We were able to measure the gradient of dry to moist air on the way out.   We also were able to sample this dry layer on the way back to FLL dropping to a lower altitude.  The SE leg of the storm was also fairly clear such that we could obtain H20 and aerosol backscatter data for most of that leg.  We also got data on the turnaround points of the flight track.  Over the storms, we did get H20 profiles periodically in between the clouds.  Cirrus extended up over 16 km in altitude and with several layers observed above and below the aircraft.
