Vance Greenway, Tom Miller, Phil Hall (PIC), Steve Sipprell, Kent Fuller, Herman Posada, Erick Munoz (Co-Pilot), Robert Rivera, Matt Graham, Chris Naftel (MD) – TN872 engaged Hurricane Karl for approximately 15 hours and made 20 passes over the eye, with several passes coordinated with the other GRIP aircraft. The airplane returned in good condition, except the ATC radio, which was replaced after the previous mission, locked onto one frequency at the 9-hour mark into the mission.
