Conducted an octagonal perimeter survey with drop sides at each corner, then approached the center of the storm. Launched dropsondes on the west side, then east side and finally over the center of the central region. Conducted MMS maneuvers during the return to Fort Lauderdale at .75 Mach and 34,000 ft. All instruments operated, 19 drop-sondes were launched. |
