Mission science summary for September 26, 2010

IFEX
The G-IV is currently tasked by NHC for a mission in the northwest Caribbean for Monday, with a take-off of 1730UTC.  A follow-on mission has been tasked for the same time on Tuesday.  The P-3 is currently not tasked, but the system in the Caribbean is being watched closely for possible tasking.

GRIP

The GH has a possible dropsonde vibration test scheduled for Monday.

The WB-57 has a no-fly day on Monday, but is on alert for a possible mission into the Caribbean system on Tuesday, provided that system is in range.

PREDICT
The G-V has a mission scheduled in the northwest Caribbean for Monday, take-off of 12UTC.  A mission is also tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, same take-off time.  It would target either the Caribbean system or PGI48L, to the east of the islands.

AIR FORCE
The Air Force has an invest mission scheduled in the Caribbean system.  Fix times are 18UTC Monday and 06UTC and 12UTC Tuesday.
