POD 3 June - 6 June

Flight ops ended 6/2 and aircraft are headed home (Citation last night ER-2 this morning).  Kudos to everyone for a great run!

Plan is to provide daily forecast on the portal through 6/5 but no longer hold 9 AM telecons. 

Though we are expecting no precipitation through the end....under the influence of a ridge, we will continue with surface obs until 6/6.  Soundings on scheduled 4/day launches, DOE radars, ADMIRARI, D3R and S/UHF profiler operating nominally.  NPOL will ramp down shifts through Sunday due to lack of precip in forecast (but be prepared for precip operations should the need arise).  On Monday NPOL will begin to disassemble.  Selected gauge sites in the APU network will begin removal this weekend with broader removal beginning on Monday.  2DVD's will remain as they are until the 6th.
