May 12 POD Update 2

Today:

ER-2 mission scrubbed.  Only very patchy precipitation over CO in vicinity of CHILL.

Citation down.  Lack of precipitation over the SGP-CF today.

Crew rest after good mission yesterday.

Friday:

ER-2 hard down.

Citation on loose standby based on conditions over the SGP-CF.  Based on precipitation forecast, only slight chance over radars/instruments.

Extended Outlook (Saturday - Monday)

Offutt AFB runway closed from Saturday 0800 CDT to Tuesday 0800 CDT.  Saturday/Sunday, PI's work on instruments.

Citation on loose standby.  Ridge building in during period so precipitation chances over SGP-CF appear to be very low.

Tentatively planning a science discussion for Monday.  More details coming.
