We are looking at the possibility of an ER2 take off at 02 UTC for a mission over northeastern Colorado in the domain of the CSU-CHILL radar.  There is a high probability of widespread rain and rain showers over CO Wednesday evening (00 - 06 UTC).  CO operations would be ER-2 only.

If Oklahoma precipitation conditions end up looking very good between 00-06 UTC, we also have the possibility of recalling the ER-2 from CO to OK for a joint ER-2 and Citation mission during the same period over Northern Oklahoma.  Probability of precipitation is much higher over Colorado at the moment so Colorado is our primary target.   Earliest Citation take off for joint ER-2/Citaiton OK mission would be 03 UTC.

We expect an update on COSMIR status around 1200 to 1300 CDT.  T-5 call for ER2 is at 1600 CDT for take off time at 0200 UTC/2100 MDT.  ER-2 mission status for tonight will be further evaluated when the operational status of COSMIR is known by early afternoon.  We will meet and discuss COSMIR status and CO/OK forecast at 1500 CDT before T-5 call at 1600 CDT.
