Latest- We canceled mission today for Citation at 2130 UTC.  Convection had not materialized (not even any decent cu)- clouds drifting in were primarily mid/high cloud and even something thaty looked like a disturbance that drifted across the dry line in N. Central TX did not initiate anything.  Final straw was that the dry line drew back toward the west and out of range.  So, no go.

Still maintaining nominal 2100 UTC take off for ER-2 tomorrow afternoon.  3 hour sounding freq starting at 6:30 CDT.

**********************************************************************************************************

Mission today for ER-2 stand down due to low probability of dry line event AND a chance to work on the instruments in anticipation of weather on Tuesday, and in particular, Wednesday.

Citation on loose alert today and we will meet at 1500 CDT to evaluate.

Outlook- Tuesday ER-2 proposed take-off at 2100 UTC for short convection mission- likely for convection initiated along dry-line and possibly assisted by ejecting wave in approaching trough (plus some diffluence).

Wednesday- looks to be the big day.  Still TBD on take off.
