See attached file.

First image is screen capture at 0927UTC, about 3 minutes after Citation took off from PNC, showing zone of strong storms SW-NE through NPOL and PNC (delayed the takeoff several minutes).  The radar image is a 10 km CAPPI from the Vance 88D at 0921UTC showing anvil starting to extend on both sides of the convective band. The red square marks the SGP central facility location.

Second image is made at 1048UTC, with 8 km CAPPI from Vance 88D at 1039UTC.  IGNORE CITATION LOCATION-INACCURATE DUE LATENCY OF UPDATES.  At this time, both ER2 and Citation were setting up on well coordinated line extending NNE from Central Facility (red square) for about 50 nm in mostly stratiform echo.  Citation sampled initially at 8.3 km (FL270) then at FL240.
