Day 2: ASR Science Team Meeting Pre-Campaign Forecasting

Low-level clouds and fog persisted over much of the region this morning. A broad upper-level trough is moving through with embedded mid-level shortwaves that has kicked off some light rain/drizzle over the texas panhandle. An upper-level ridge will amplify over the next few days, leading to clearing skies and warmer weather. The next best chance for precipitation will occur as a surface front approaches the region Sunday.
