Instrument Debrief for MTP

Instrument Performance:
Had pilot monitor MTP fail light to establish exact time of failure. Reported failure at 9000 feet which is consistent with fail at launch since MTP has 1 minute watch dog timer to set fail light. Instrument recovered fine and data is excellent quality. We suspect that we are getting a power glitch on launch. Will change power on procedure to power up after launch.
